Where Do Things Stand?

All season if you’ve been reading posts on here, I’ve been talking about how there’s still plenty of time left and how this team hasn’t fully developed yet. Everywhere you turn, someone is second-guessing a tactical decision, complaining about a blown call, or questioning the tenacity of some of the guys. After four losses (all on the road), some concerns may be valid. To say that everything is fine when 58 points are surrendered in the second half would be both naive and a lie. It Was a Rough Night in Philly

The Xavier (13-3, 3-1) vs. Villanova (16-1, 4-1) game Tuesday was the first Top 15 Big East game of the year. The Musketeers haven’t fared well in Philly over the years, going 0-3 in their first three games there since joining the Big East and not losing by less than 13. Villanova was coming off their first loss of the season, an upset at the hands of Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Xavier/Big East Whiparound

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, a busy couple of weeks has hindered the ability to push out content here on the website.
